Markhaven is a fictional town and civil parish in Eastvale County, Veridia. Located along the River Alder, it lies about 20 kilometers north of the regional capital and about 60 kilometers southeast of the national capital. The town sits on mixed farmland and woodland and has a temperate maritime climate.

The earliest records of Markhaven date to the 12th century, with a weekly market charter granted in 1423. It developed as a market town serving surrounding villages, with textile processing and agriculture forming the foundation of its economy in the 18th and 19th centuries.
