Manyara
Manyara is a region in northern Tanzania named after Lake Manyara, a shallow lake near the region’s center. The regional capital is Babati. The territory lies in the East African Rift system and contains a mix of highland farmlands, savanna plains, and lakeshore habitats. Lake Manyara National Park and portions of Tarangire National Park are located within or near the region, contributing to its tourism sector.
