Makrokeel

The word blends makro- (macro) with keel, signaling a scale well beyond conventional keels. In theoretical models, makrokeel may be realized as a single continuous keel along the hull bottom or as an array of large, interlocking segments. Its primary purpose would be to provide structural rigidity, improve directional stability, and influence hydrodynamic behavior in a way that scales with vessel size.
