Majandusmigrante

Majandusmigrante refers to individuals who move from one country to another in search of better economic opportunities. This phenomenon is often exacerbated by economic disparities between countries, leading to a large influx of people seeking higher wages and improved living standards.

Majandusmigrante does not necessarily imply a traditional immigration experience, where migrants move permanently to a new country. Instead, many majandusmigrante engage in temporary or seasonal migration, spending time abroad to work, earn money, and then returning to their home country.

Such economic migration can have significant social and economic implications for both the sending and receiving countries. In the sending country, labor shortages may be alleviated, but brain drain can occur as skilled workers emigrate, potentially hindering national development.
