Magkano
Magkano is a common Filipino (Tagalog) expression meaning “how much.” It is used to inquire about price and can stand alone as a question or begin a longer query. Examples include Magkano ito? (“How much is this?”), Magkano ang presyo nito? (“What is the price of this?”), and Magkano ang isang kilo ng manok? (“How much is a kilo of chicken?”). In everyday speech, it is frequently heard in markets, stores, and online transactions. Politeness can be added with po, as in Magkano po ito? or Magkano po ang presyo nito?
