Magelone
Magelone is a commune in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region of southern France. It is situated on the Mediterranean coast, near the Étang de Thau, a large saltwater lagoon. The commune's administrative center is the village of Magalas, although the name Magelone often refers to the historical and natural site located on a small peninsula.
