Mackie is a brand of professional audio equipment originally developed by Mackie Designs, an American company known for affordable mixers and loudspeakers used in recording studios, live sound, and educational settings. The brand traces its origins to 1988, when Greg Mackie founded Mackie Designs in California to create compact, value-oriented analog mixers for home studios and project facilities.
