Maakonnavalitsused

Maakonnavalitsused, often translated as county governments or county administrations, were a form of regional administrative and self-governing unit in Estonia. Their existence and structure have evolved over time. Historically, Estonia was divided into counties, and the maakonnavalitsused were the executive bodies responsible for administering these counties.
