MLIX

MLIX refers to the number 1059 in Roman numerals. Roman numerals are a numeral system that originated in ancient Rome and remained the usual way of writing numbers throughout Europe well into the Late Middle Ages. The system is based on letters from the Latin alphabet, where I represents 1, V represents 5, X represents 10, L represents 50, C represents 100, D represents 500, and M represents 1000.
