MAS50 is a financial market index developed by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) to track the performance of large-capitalization stocks across 50 emerging market countries. Introduced in 2007, the index is designed to provide investors with exposure to the growth potential of developing economies while offering greater diversification compared to regional or single-country indices.

The MAS50 includes approximately 50 of the largest and most liquid stocks from emerging markets, selected based on market capitalization, liquidity, and investability criteria.
