The M151A2 is a 1/4 ton, four-wheel-drive, tactical utility truck developed by Ford Motor Company for the United States military. It was introduced in 1960 as a successor to the M38A1 Jeep. The M151A2 underwent significant design changes from its predecessor, most notably the independent suspension system and a more rounded body. This provided improved off-road mobility and handling.
