Lämpöilmaisintyypit refer to different kinds of heat detectors used in fire alarm systems. These detectors are designed to sense an increase in temperature, which can indicate a fire. They are often used in areas where smoke detectors might trigger falsely due to normal conditions like steam or cooking fumes.

One common type is the fixed-temperature heat detector. This device activates when the ambient temperature reaches a predetermined point. For example, a common setting might be 57 degrees Celsius. Once this temperature is reached, the detector sends a signal to the fire alarm control panel.

Another type is the rate-of-rise heat detector. This detector responds to a rapid increase in temperature over a short period, regardless of the actual temperature reached. It is designed to detect a fast-developing fire more quickly than a fixed-temperature detector. Many rate-of-rise detectors also incorporate a fixed-temperature element as a backup, ensuring activation even if the rate of temperature increase is slower.

Differential heat detectors combine both rate-of-rise and fixed-temperature sensing. They are sensitive to a rapid temperature increase but also have a fixed-temperature threshold for slower-developing fires. These detectors are generally considered more reliable in preventing false alarms while still providing effective fire detection.

The choice of heat detector type depends on the specific application and the potential fire risks involved. Factors like the normal operating temperature of the area and the expected speed of fire development are crucial considerations when selecting the appropriate heat detector.
