Lyari
Lyari is a neighborhood in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Located along the Lyari River on the western side of the city, it is one of the oldest settlements in Karachi and forms part of the wider metropolitan area. In the early 2000s it was organized as Lyari Town under Karachi’s local government structure, though administrative boundaries have changed with subsequent reforms. The area is densely populated and predominantly working-class, with housing built in tight, informal settlements.
