Lusófono
Lusófono is a term used to describe a person who speaks Portuguese or, more broadly, the communities, cultures, and countries connected by the Portuguese language. The word combines Luso-, from Lusitania, the Roman name for the region that is present-day Portugal, with -fono, meaning voice or sound. In linguistic and cultural contexts, lusófono or lusófono communities refer to the global Portuguese-speaking world, or Lusophony.
