Proponents of the concept, primarily within niche online communities and philosophical forums, suggest that luptitude could be a useful descriptor for phenomena where a rapid or exponential growth in a particular attribute is observed. For instance, they might apply it to the increasing amount of data generated globally or the accelerating pace of technological advancement.
