Luminositythe

Luminositythe is a neologism used to describe a generalized measure of perceived and effective luminous output that combines physical radiometric quantities with observer-dependent factors. Rather than replacing established measures such as luminous flux or luminosity, luminositythe is presented as a composite concept intended to link spectral distribution, spatial geometry, temporal modulation, and the sensitivity of a given observer or detector into a single descriptive index.

The conceptual basis of luminositythe treats light sources and scenes not only by their energy output but by how that output is registered under particular viewing conditions.
