Lubraniec

Lubraniec is a town in north-central Poland, located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is part of Włocławek County and serves as the seat of Gmina Lubraniec. The town lies in an agriculturally oriented region and functions as a local center for commerce, services, and administration for surrounding villages.

With medieval origins, Lubraniec developed around a market and a parish church. Throughout its history it belonged to the Kingdom of Poland, experienced the various historical changes that affected central Poland, and, after the partitions, became part of the Prussian and then the Polish state again following World War I. In modern Poland it has the status of a town and the administrative seat of its gmina within the county.

Lubraniec has a small population, consisting of several thousand residents, and displays a typical layout of a small Polish town, with a central market area and historic streets surrounding the parish church and municipal buildings. The local economy relies on agriculture, local trade, and small service businesses, while residents commute to nearby larger towns for employment.

The town is served by local roads linking it with Włocławek and other settlements in the region. It maintains regional cultural and community life through churches, a primary school, a cultural center, and voluntary associations.
