Losioneiden

Losioneiden is an island group located in the Gulf of Finland, part of the Baltic Sea. It is comprised of several small islands, with the total area covering around 1.5 square kilometers. The islands are situated approximately 14 kilometers west of the Finnish coastal town of Naissaari, in the southwestern part of Finland.

Geologically, the Losioneiden islands are composed primarily of limestone and dolostone, formed as a result of the Transores rock episode during the Silurian period. This geological formation has led to the characteristic rounded shapes and erosion patterns observed on the islands.

The Losioneiden island group is known for its unique conservation and preservation status.
