Loogikalüüsid

Loogikalüüsid, commonly referred to as logic gates, are fundamental building blocks of digital circuits. They perform basic logical operations on one or more binary inputs and produce a single binary output. The output is determined by the logical relationship between the inputs.

The most common types of logic gates include AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR, and XNOR gates. An AND gate outputs a 1 only if all its inputs are 1. An OR gate outputs a 1 if at least one of its inputs is 1. A NOT gate, also known as an inverter, outputs the opposite of its single input. NAND (NOT AND) gates output 0 only when all inputs are 1, while NOR (NOT OR) gates output 1 only when all inputs are 0. XOR (exclusive OR) gates output 1 if an odd number of inputs are 1, and XNOR (exclusive NOR) gates output 1 if an even number of inputs are 1.

These gates are typically implemented using transistors, which can act as electronic switches. By combining various logic gates in complex arrangements, engineers can design sophisticated digital systems, including microprocessors, memory units, and control systems that power modern computers and electronic devices.
