Looahs are a fictional ethnolinguistic group described in speculative fiction and worldbuilding literature. They are said to inhabit a coastal archipelago known as the Looa Isles, located in a temperate maritime region. The term Looah is said to derive from a word meaning “shorewatcher” in their ancestral language, and the endonym is used in various forms across the islands.
