Loikaw

Loikaw is the capital of Kayah State in eastern Myanmar. It serves as the administrative, economic, and cultural center of the state and is a key hub for government services, education, and commerce. The city lies in a hilly inland area, with access to the upland communities that make up much of Kayah State. It functions as the main gateway to the state’s rural regions and their networks of markets and services.
