Lobkovice

Lobkovice is a municipality and village located in the Mělník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The village has a long history, with the first written records dating back to 1305. The name of the village is derived from the Czech words "Lubko," which is believed to be a personal name, and "vychy," or "movement," "going," or "departure."

In the course of history, Lobkovice has changed hands several times, with it being owned by various noble families, including the Lobkowicz family. Today, the village is part of the Czech Republic and has a population of around 400 residents.
