Ljig
Ljig is a town and municipality located in central Serbia, in the Kolubara District. It is situated along the Ljig River, from which it derives its name. The town serves as the administrative center of the municipality that bears the same name. The area around Ljig has been inhabited since ancient times, with archaeological evidence suggesting settlements dating back to the Roman period. The modern town developed significantly during the 20th century, particularly after World War II when industrialization began to transform the region.
