Limacoidei are found in diverse habitats worldwide, including forests, grasslands, gardens, and agricultural areas. They are primarily herbivores, feeding on a variety of plant matter, fungi, and decaying organic material. Their diet can sometimes lead to them being considered pests in agricultural settings.
