Lieferquote

Lieferquote is a term used in logistics and procurement to describe the share of deliveries that meet agreed terms, typically concerning delivery time and completeness. It serves as a performance metric to assess supplier reliability and service level.

Calculation: Lieferquote = (Anzahl termingerecht und in voller Menge gelieferter Bestellungen / Gesamtanzahl der Bestellungen) × 100%. In many contexts, separate metrics exist for On-Time Delivery Rate (termingerechte Lieferungen) and for On-Time In-Full (OTIF).

Applications: Used in supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and performance dashboards. A higher Lieferquote indicates better reliability and can influence penalties, bonuses, or renewal decisions. It complements other KPIs such as Liefertreue, Lieferzeit, and Servicegrad.

Measurement and challenges: Data come from ERP, WMS, and transport systems. Definitions vary by industry: some count shipments, others lines or line items; time windows differ. Data quality and variability, stockouts, and external disruptions can distort the metric.
