Lerdo

Lerdo is a city and municipality in the state of Durango, Mexico. It is located in the northern part of the state, within the Laguna region known as the Comarca Lagunera, a major urban and industrial area that also includes Torreón and Gómez Palacio. The municipal seat is the city of Lerdo, which serves as the administrative center.

The municipality and its city are named after Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada, a 19th-century president of Mexico.
