Leksvik
Leksvik is a former municipality located in Trøndelag county, Norway. It was established as a municipality in 1838 and encompassed a significant coastal area. The municipality's administrative center was the village of Leksvik, situated on the western side of the Trondheimsfjord. Historically, the economy of Leksvik was largely based on agriculture, fishing, and forestry. Over time, industry, particularly furniture manufacturing, also became important.
