Leknes

Leknes is a town in Nordland county, Norway. It is the administrative centre of Vestvågøy Municipality on the island of Vestvågøya in the Lofoten archipelago. The town sits on the western coast of Vestvågøya along the Vestfjorden and functions as a major commercial and service hub for Lofoten, with retail outlets, offices, schools, and cultural facilities. It is the largest urban centre on Vestvågøya and one of the more populous places in the Lofoten region, with a few thousand residents.
