Lehtileikkeet

Lehtileikkeet, often translated as "leaf clippings" or "foliage clippings," refers to the detached organic matter from plants, primarily leaves and stems, that falls or is removed from vegetation. This material is a common byproduct of gardening, landscaping, and natural plant processes. In natural ecosystems, lehtileikkeet decompose over time, returning nutrients to the soil and contributing to the formation of humus. This decomposition is facilitated by microorganisms, fungi, and invertebrates.
