Laserohjaukset
Laserohjaukset, often translated as laser guidance, refers to a system that utilizes a laser beam to direct munitions or other objects to a target. This technology allows for highly accurate targeting and engagement, significantly improving the effectiveness of weapon systems. The core principle involves a laser designator, either carried by a separate unit or integrated into the weapon itself, which emits a low-power laser beam onto the target. This beam is typically in the infrared spectrum, making it invisible to the naked eye but detectable by specialized seekers on the munition.
When a laser-guided munition is launched, its seeker locks onto the reflected laser energy from the target.
