Landsetup

LandSetup is a land measurement system used in various parts of the world, particularly in Asia and Europe. It is a decimal-based system used to measure land area, typically used for administrative and land survey purposes.

The LandSetup system divides a square kilometer into 100 equal parts called "Hectares" (ha ). Each hectare is further divided into 100 equal parts called "Are" (a ). To convert square kilometers to hectares, one square kilometer is equal to 100 hectares. To express an area in square meters, one square kilometer is equal to 1,000,000 square meters.

In LandSetup, a metric prefix is also used to express land areas in larger or smaller units. For example, 1 decare (da) is equal to 10 are, and 1 ares is equal to 100 square meters. LandAreas in square kilometers can also be expressed in units of 10,000, such as dekare (da) and spiruls (sp), although these units are less commonly used.

LandSetup is commonly used in many countries that have been formerly part of the Soviet Union, including Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Eastern European countries. It is also used in other countries and regions that have been influenced by Soviet-era administrative systems. The LandSetup system provides a convenient way to measure and express land areas, especially in regions where land use and administration are critical.

In recent years, LandSetup has gained recognition as an important unit of measurement for land administration and sustainability purposes.
