Landsatsarjan
Landsatsarjan is a collaborative project involving a series of Earth-observing satellites operated by NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey. The program began with the launch of Landsat 1 in 1972 and has since continued with subsequent missions, each improving upon the capabilities of its predecessors. These satellites are designed to collect data about Earth's land surface from a near-polar orbit.
The primary objective of the Landsatsarjan program is to provide continuous, long-term monitoring of land resources
Over its decades of operation, the Landsatsarjan program has amassed an unparalleled archive of Earth imagery.
