Lancomponent

Lancomponent refers to a piece of hardware or software that is part of a local area network (LAN). These components enable devices to connect and communicate with each other within a limited geographical area, such as a home, office, or school. Common hardware lancomponents include network interface cards (NICs) found in computers and other devices, routers which direct network traffic, switches that connect multiple devices, and access points that provide wireless connectivity. Cables such as Ethernet are also essential hardware lancomponents. Software lancomponents include network protocols like TCP/IP that govern how data is transmitted, network drivers that allow hardware to interact with the operating system, and network operating systems that manage network resources.
