Lakshadweep
Lakshadweep is India’s smallest union territory, an archipelago in the Laccadive Sea off the southwestern coast of the Indian mainland. The territory comprises 36 islands, of which ten are inhabited, with Kavaratti serving as the administrative capital. The group lies off the coast of Kerala and is geographically part of the Malabar region.
