Lakselvs

Lakselv, sometimes rendered Lakselvs, is a town and the administrative centre of Porsanger Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It sits at the inner end of the Porsangerfjorden, along the river Lakselva, which is renowned for Atlantic salmon fishing. The name Lakselv derives from the Lakselva river, literally meaning salmon river.
