LWren is a fictional character from the television series Firefly and its film continuation Serenity. She is a young, exceptionally gifted hacker and pilot, a member of the ragtag crew of the spaceship Serenity. Born on the planet Osiris, she experienced a traumatic childhood during the Unification War. Her parents were killed by the Independent forces, and she was subsequently taken in by Captain Malcolm Reynolds, who became her legal guardian.
