Kütusesisestussüsteemi, also known as the fuel injection system, is a crucial component of modern internal combustion engines. Its primary function is to deliver a precise amount of fuel into the engine's combustion chambers at the optimal time. This precise delivery is essential for efficient combustion, leading to improved fuel economy, reduced emissions, and enhanced engine performance.

There are several types of fuel injection systems, with the most common being port fuel injection and direct injection. In port fuel injection, fuel is injected into the intake manifold, just before the intake valve. This allows the fuel to mix with air before entering the combustion chamber. Direct injection systems, on the other hand, inject fuel directly into the combustion chamber, offering even greater control over the fuel-air mixture and allowing for more efficient combustion, especially under varying engine loads.

The operation of a fuel injection system is typically managed by an engine control unit (ECU). The ECU receives data from various sensors, such as the mass airflow sensor, throttle position sensor, and oxygen sensor. Based on this data, the ECU calculates the exact amount of fuel needed and the precise moment to inject it. This sophisticated control allows the engine to adapt to different driving conditions and optimize its operation.

Common components of a fuel injection system include fuel injectors, a fuel pump, fuel lines, a fuel filter, and the aforementioned ECU. The fuel pump draws fuel from the tank and delivers it under pressure to the injectors. The fuel filter removes any impurities from the fuel before it reaches the injectors. The injectors are electronically controlled valves that spray a fine mist of fuel. A properly functioning fuel injection system is vital for the overall health and performance of an engine.
