Küttevõrku, often translated as thermal grid or heating network, refers to a system for distributing heat from a central source to multiple buildings. These systems are commonly found in urban areas and industrial complexes. The heat generated at a central plant, which can utilize various energy sources like burning fossil fuels, biomass, geothermal energy, or waste heat from industrial processes, is then transported through insulated underground pipes. This hot water or steam circulates to individual buildings, where it is used for space heating and domestic hot water.

The advantages of küttevõrku include increased energy efficiency by consolidating heating production in a single, often more optimized, facility. It can also contribute to reduced local air pollution compared to individual heating systems.
