Követelményváltozások, in Hungarian project management discourse, refers to modifications or adjustments made to the requirements of a project after the initial requirements specification has been approved. These changes may result from new stakeholder input, regulatory updates, market shifts, technology advancements, or lessons learned during the project’s execution phase.

The process of handling követelményváltozások typically follows a structured change control procedure. First, a change request is formally documented, outlining the proposed alteration, its rationale, and the expected impact on scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Next, relevant stakeholders—including project sponsors, business analysts, and technical leads—evaluate the request through a change control board or similar governance body. The assessment considers feasibility, risk, and alignment with project objectives. Once approved, the requirements documentation is revised, and the change is communicated to all impacted team members. The implementation then proceeds with updated design, development, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring traceability and maintaining project integrity.
