Kövesés

Kövesés is a Hungarian term that translates to "stony ground" or "rocky soil." It describes terrain characterized by a significant presence of stones and rocks, often interspersed with soil. This type of ground can range from fields with scattered pebbles to areas covered in larger rocks and boulders.

The presence of kövesés can impact various aspects of land use. In agriculture, it can present challenges for plowing and cultivation, potentially damaging equipment and limiting the types of crops that can be grown.
