Kálovatelnosti is a Czech neologism used to describe the quality of a system, model, or process that can be readily calibrated or aligned with external references, data, or standards. The term is not widely standardized and appears primarily in contemporary discussions across data science, systems engineering, and philosophy of science. In practice, kálovatelnost refers to how easily the outputs of a model or the behavior of a process can be adjusted through parameter tuning, re-calibration, or re-synchronization with a reference dataset, experiment, or benchmark, with emphasis on the effort required rather than the outcome of calibration alone.

Etymology and status: The word is a recent neologism in Czech, formed with the general suffix -nost to denote an abstract quality. Its precise sense and boundaries are still developing, and different authors may emphasize different aspects of calibration, such as sensitivity to data drift, stability under re-fitting, or transparency of the calibration procedure.
