Kynätyyppejä

Kynätyyppejä refers to the various types of writing instruments available. The most common category is writing instruments that use ink. Ballpoint pens are ubiquitous, featuring a small rotating ball at their tip that dispenses viscous ink. Rollerball pens are similar but use a liquid ink, offering a smoother writing experience. Fountain pens utilize a metal nib and a reservoir to feed liquid ink to the writing surface, often preferred for their aesthetic and control. Felt-tip pens, including markers, use a porous tip made of a fibrous material to deliver ink.

Beyond ink-based instruments, dry writing tools are also considered kynätyyppejä. Pencils are a classic example, using a graphite core encased in wood or a mechanical holder. Colored pencils function similarly but contain pigments in addition to graphite. Crayons are made of wax and pigment, often used by children for drawing. Charcoal sticks, made from compressed burnt organic material, provide a dark, smudgy line. Pastel sticks, made from chalk or gypsum, are another form of dry medium used for drawing and art.
