Kunitztyp
Kunitztyp, or Kunitz-type, refers to a family of serine protease inhibitors defined by the Kunitz domain, a compact motif of about 60 to 70 amino acids stabilized by three disulfide bonds. The domain was first characterized in classic inhibitors such as the bovine pancreatic trypsin inhibitor (BPTI), and the family is named for that well-studied example.
