Kundakundas

Kundakundas was a prominent Jain monk, philosopher, and poet who lived in India, likely during the 1st or 2nd century CE. He is considered one of the most influential figures in the Digambara tradition of Jainism. Kundakundas is credited with composing numerous important Jain texts, which have profoundly shaped Jain philosophy and practice.

His most famous works include the Pravachanasara, Samayasara, and Niyamasara.
