Kullaberg

Kullaberg is a peninsula on the northwest coast of Skåne County, Sweden, extending into Kattegatt. It lies within Höganäs Municipality, near the towns of Mölle and Höganäs. The area is dominated by a rugged coastline with cliffs and headlands and is protected as the Kullaberg Nature Reserve.

Geology and landscape: The coast features steep cliffs, sea caves and rocky outcrops shaped by erosion; the terrain includes heathland and woodlands that host diverse plant communities.

Biodiversity and protection: The nature reserve protects habitats of coastal cliffs, heath, and woodland and hosts bats, seabirds, and rare plant species. The site is part of Natura 2000 and is managed to preserve geological and biological values; certain areas have restricted access during sensitive periods.
