Kuljetintyypit refers to the various types of conveyor systems used for material handling. These systems are designed to move materials from one location to another, often in a continuous or automated fashion. The choice of conveyor type depends on factors such as the material being transported, the distance, the required speed, and the environment.

Common types of conveyors include belt conveyors, which use a continuous belt to move items. Roller conveyors use a series of rollers to support and propel goods, suitable for flat-bottomed items. Screw conveyors, also known as auger conveyors, utilize a rotating helical screw blade within a tube or trough to move bulk materials. Chain conveyors employ a series of connected chains to drag or carry items, often used for heavier loads. Overhead conveyors suspend items from an overhead track, ideal for assembly lines or moving items through different processing stages. Bucket elevators are used to vertically transport bulk materials, typically powders or grains, using a series of buckets attached to a belt or chain. Pneumatic conveyors move materials using air pressure, either positive (blowing) or negative (vacuum), commonly used for powders and granular substances. Vibratory conveyors use vibration to move materials along a trough or surface. Each type has specific applications and advantages, contributing to the efficiency and automation of industrial processes.
