Kujuteldavaks

Kujuteldavaks is an Estonian grammatical form that functions as the translative form of the adjective kujuteldav, meaning “imagined” or “conceivable.” It denotes a change of state into an imagined condition and is therefore used in contexts where something is described as becoming imaginable.

Formation and usage: The form is created by adding the translative suffix -aks to the stem of the adjective: kujuteldav + aks → kujuteldavaks. In Estonian, the translative case marks a change of state and is often translated with into, as in “muutub kujuteldavaks” (“becomes imaginable”).

Examples: See the scenario becomes kujuteldavaks when a new context is added: “See stsenaarium muutub kujuteldavaks, kui lisame uue konteksti.” Another example is making an idea imaginable: “Selle ideed kujuteldavaks muutmiseks vajame alternatiivseid stsenaariume.”
