Kuhglocken
Kuhglocken, also known as cowbells, are bells traditionally hung around the necks of cattle. These bells are typically made of metal, often bronze or iron, and vary in size and shape depending on the region and purpose. The primary function of a kuhglocke is to help farmers locate their grazing animals, especially in large or mountainous pastures where visibility can be limited. The sound of the bell alerts the farmer to the animal's presence and can also help to prevent predators from surprising the herd.
The tradition of using cowbells dates back centuries and is deeply intertwined with pastoral farming practices
