Kuantifikuesit

The existential quantifier, symbolized by ∃, means "there exists" or "for some". It asserts that there is at least one element in a given set for which a property holds true. For example, "∃x, x is a prime number greater than 100" is a statement claiming that there is at least one prime number larger than 100.

These quantifiers are crucial for expressing complex statements precisely and unambiguously. They are fundamental building blocks in predicate logic, allowing mathematicians and logicians to formalize arguments and theories.
