Krympförseglingar

Krympförseglingar, also known as shrink seals or shrink bands, are a type of tamper-evident packaging commonly used for products in bottles, jars, and other containers. They are made from a heat-shrinkable plastic film, typically polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). When heat is applied, the film shrinks tightly around the neck or lid of the container, creating a secure seal.

The primary function of a krympförsegling is to indicate if a product has been opened or tampered with. Once the seal is broken, it is visually apparent, providing consumers with assurance of the product's integrity. This is particularly important for food items, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and chemicals where safety and authenticity are paramount.

Applying krympförseglingar is a straightforward process. The pre-formed sleeve is placed over the product's closure, and then exposed to a heat source, such as a heat gun or a shrink tunnel. The heat causes the plastic to contract, conforming to the shape of the container's neck and lid.

Some may include perforations to make them easier to remove after the seal has been applied.
